9AM-12PM | Winter Concrete 101 and Troubleshooting: The class will evolve around winter conditions and the do's and don'ts for concrete. We will discuss problems with salts and delamination. We will also get into what mix is best and how to treat it. I will also talk a little about sealers and what they can do. Towards the end of the class I would like to do a question-and-answer session to go over issues or concerns that builders are having locally.       - Taught by Advance Ready Mix Concrete

12PM-1PM | Lunch Break

1PM-4PM | Contract Law: This 3-hour law class will cover the BIA and GLAR contracts line-by-line along with specific explanations of the contract law associated with each section. Attendees will leave this class with a refresher on issue that affect contracts on a regular basis and a template on how to best address those issues.     - Taught by Limestone Title & Escrow

Attend 3 Hours or the Full 6 Hours!

This Continuing Education day features two separate 3-hour classes, giving you the flexibility to attend one session or both.

BIA Builder Members are required to complete 6 total hours of Continuing Education for BIA and Louisville Metro credit.

For November 19, you may choose to:

• Attend the full day and complete all 6 required CE hours, OR
• Attend one 3-hour class on November 19 and complete your remaining 3 hours on another available date where it states you can separate.
