9AM-12PM | Installation and best practices of exterior products. We’ll be teaching builders how to correctly plan, install, and finish a high-performance building envelope using TimberTech decking, AZEK trim, Hardie siding, and ThermaTru doors. The training will cover proper material handling, key installation best practices, and the details that help ensure long-lasting performance—appearance, durability, and weather resistance. Builders will also learn how to select compatible components, follow the right techniques at transitions and penetrations, and reduce callbacks by installing to manufacturer guidelines from start to finish.  - Taught by Architectural Window-Door

12PM-1PM | Lunch Break

1PM-4PM | Products & “Paint Points.” We are going through common builder pain points and offering solutions to common paint points for builders. Topics include caulking, stains, painting cabinets and built ins, primer selection, drywall & paint systems, new products and solutions.  - Taught by Sherwin Williams

Attend 3 Hours or the Full 6 Hours!

This Continuing Education day features two separate 3-hour classes, giving you the flexibility to attend one session or both.

BIA Builder Members are required to complete 6 total hours of Continuing Education for BIA and Louisville Metro credit.

For November 3, you may choose to:

• Attend the full day and complete all 6 required CE hours, OR
• Attend one 3-hour class on November 3 and complete your remaining 3 hours on another available date where it states you can separate.

When registering, simply select the class(es) you would like to attend.
